Following the most successful year in 2014, when the 1st XI won 4 trophies, (NCU Section One, Irish National Cup, Ulster Shield & T20 Trophy). Carrickfergus Cricket Club decided to honour the squad with official playing caps, and in future, to those who make 12 or more appearances for the 1st XI.
