Pre-Season gets underway at Stormont

Carrickfergus CC 1st XI started their 2015 season with a rain effected game away to fellow Premier League side CSNI. In a 35 over a side game CCC managed 152-7 from their allotted overs. In reply CSNI reached 60-5 in the 17th over before a heavy rain shower brought a premature end to the game. With plenty of positives to take from the game, the 1st XI move onto Dublin next weekend, for a double header against Leinster CC (Sat) and Rush CC (Sun).

Carrickfergus sign Mulder for 2015

Carrickfergus Cricket Club are pleased to announce the signing of highly regarded 19 year old Irish qualified leg spinner Jacob Mulder for the 2015 season. Jacob joins the club following his release from CIYMS, having spent the last two years in NCU cricket and finished in the top five wicket takers for 2014.

Having already played representative cricket in Western Australia, we feel that Jacob will compliment our current squad and has the potential to reach the highest levels of the game.

The club are delighted to welcome a proven performer to Middle Road
