Carrickfergus Cricket Club held its annual Kwik Cricket tournament for local primary schools at Middle Road last Tuesday, with 8 teams and over 80 children taking part. Greenisland PS were the eventual winners, defeating Eden PS by just 16 runs in a closely contested final. Both sides contained a number of players from the local Cricket Club's Under 11 squad. The tournament was well organised by Carrick coach Ross Gelderbloem who was assisted by Mikey Taiaroa, Jamie Holmes, and Alex Haggan.
