Carrickfergus Cricket Club has been named the Cricket Ireland Club of the Year 2014 sponsored by Tildenet. Amid stiff competition from YMCA CC, based in Leinster, and Cork County CC from Munster, Carrickfergus were deemed worthy winners following their 7 Trophy haul.

With 4 Senior trophies, (NCU Section 1, Irish National Cup, Ulster Shield and NCU Twenty20 Trophy) and a further 3 at Junior levels, (Junior 3 [2nd XI], Junior 9 [4th XI], U15 League). It really was a season that will never be forgotten.
