With the 1st XI's opening game postponed due to a wet pitch, it was up to the 3rd XI to kick off the 2015 Cricket Season. They travelled away to Millpark CC to take on their 2nd XI, CCC won the toss, in damp conditions and with the match reduced to 25 overs, elected to bat first. At 14-3 things were not looking promising, and again at 59-4, but a 50+ partnership between Bradley Luney (42) and Simon Scott (28) got the 3rd XI up to a highly respectable 145-7. In reply, early wickets hampered Millpark, with 2 apiece for Adam Crook and Simon Scott. In the end Millpark finished on 93-7, 52 runs short.
