Carrickfergus Cricket Club held its annual Kwik Cricket tournament for local primary schools at Middle Road last Thursday, with 12 teams and over 100 children taking part. Woodlawn PS were the eventual winners, defeating Whitehead PS in a closely contested final. The tournament was well organised by Carrickfergus coach Jamie Holmes who was assisted by Pat Botha, Alex Haggan, Kyle Hutton, Lee Murdock, Adam Crook and Jonny Boggs.
