Carrickfergus Cricket Club held its annual Kwik Cricket tournament for local primary schools at Middle Road last Friday, with Acorn Aces, Eden Eagles, St. Nicholas Strikers, Sunnylands Scorchers, Whitehead Warriors, Woodlawn Wolves and Woodburn Wolves all contesting a highly competitive day of Kwik Cricket Eden PS were the eventual winners, going unbeaten throughout the day in the round robin tournament. Organised by Carrickfergus coach Jamie Holmes, the day was a success with over 70 kids taking part. Thanks go to all our coaches, volunteers and sponsors on the day, in particular MG2 Cricket for providing the Tournament Prizes, The Square View Restaurant and Roger Bell for his support.
