Carrickfergus Cricket Club and Carrick Rangers FC have announced a new partnership arrangement that will see both Clubs working together more closely in the future.
Welcoming this new development for the local Clubs, Jim Nelson, the Chairman of Carrick Cricket Club said "With both of us playing in our respective Premier Leagues, the highest levels locally for both cricket and football, it makes sense to support each other where we can and to promote both sports in Carrickfergus and the wider area.”
Speaking on behalf of Carrick Rangers FC, David Hilditch said “Carrick Rangers FC is delighted to be part of this initiative, and it might be something that we can build on to include other sports in the future, as by working together we can maximise the benefit to all sports in the area.”
