Carrickfergus Cricket Club's pre-season indoor nets start shortly in Carrickfergus Amphitheatre as preparations begin for the 2019 season.
The nets commence next Tuesday, 12th March, from 8.00 to 10.00 pm and will continue every week until 9th April.
All members are encouraged to attend, and anyone interested in joining or rejoining the local club will be made very welcome. Just turn up at the Carrick Amphitheatre on a Tuesday evening.
The Club will again field 4 senior teams and a Mid-Week league team this season, with the 1st XI participating in the NCU Premier League. Teams will again also be fielded in league and cup competitions at Under 15, Under 13, and Under 11 age groups. Carrick will also again field a Women's team.
The Carrickfergus Club, whose 1st XI finished 3rd in the NCU Premier League last season, is also one of the few in Northern Ireland that has achieved Sport NI Club Accreditation, which ensures that the Club can provide quality coaching and competition, effective management, and a safe environment for young people.
