Acorn Primary School retained their title when they again won Carrickfergus Cricket Club's Annual Kwik Cricket Tournament played at Middle Road, defeating Woodburn PS in a closely contested final.
Eleven teams from six local primary schools braved the elements on Wednesday morning to take part in the Tournament, and the club wishes to thank Eden PS, Central PS, Whitehead PS, and Woodlawn PS for also taking part in the competition which was organised by the Club's South African Professional Player/Coach Jacques Snyman.
Acorn Primary School now go onto take part in the National Kwik Cricket Championship at Stormont, next week.
