Snyman to return to Carrickfergus CC
Carrickfergus Cricket Club are delighted to announce that South African Jacques Snyman has re-signed as the club’s professional for the 2021 season.
The big hitting all-rounder had a very successful debut season for the club in 2019, scoring 1085 runs @ 54.25 including 5 hundreds, in all competitions. He also picked up 24 wickets @ 24.83 with his tidy off-spin, and took 12 catches. He had been due to return for the 2020 season, but that was put on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Carrick Chairman Billy Crook said “Jacques is an exceptional cricketer, and we look forward to welcoming him back to Middle Road. I’m sure that he will help the club enjoy a successful season in 2021, when hopefully things will have returned to something like normal”
“The club would like to thank Gary Hunt of Cric-Intro for his assistance in completing the signing”
